“Demystischism”

“Choronzonic” nullification, Mysticism, Christianity, and even Gnosticism, share the common denominator of de-emphasizing the human ego. They really love herding people into oblivion, and I suspect that the forces behind these ideologies have all been in cahoots to harvest souls all along. Meanwhile, I’m imagining all these deceased people of various opposing beliefs bumping into each other on a single conveyor belt in the afterlife.
Most of my paintings begin as Rorschach-style “inkblots”, but unlike Dr. R., I’m the one prescribing what the patient should see. Since I’ve been making these watercolor inkblots for quite some time now, over the years I have ended up with a “sacrosanct box” of special ones that were deemed too perfect to be touched. Revisiting the box this 2025 made me change mind, and here is how one of them ended up.
